The Silent Bench

There is just something so peaceful about sitting outside on a bench and just listening. The world moves at such a rapid pace, and just stopping to hear it is a rare happening. Behind me there are guys yelling greetings to eachother, to my left a group of girls giggle. Infront of me buses run continuously and to my right a boy sits singing and playing on a yukalaylee, and everywhere the wind blows through trees with such great force it's a wonder thy all aren't bent and leaning. Life is beautiful, in all it's random and chaotic happenings, it is definitely beautiful. So though my hands are freezing and my nose is running, the sunshine on my back feels delightful and i think I'll sit a while longer, listening to the beautiful, God given wonders around me.
